Summer in Norway




It has been a wet and cold summer in Norway, but with little Lukas light around we have enjoyed happy activities.


We went to a music-festival and Lukas blended in! He drunk water instead of beer though!


The last week of july we rented a cottage in Hvitsten, one hour south of Oslo, along the Oslofjord. We got a lovely visit from Thomas, Susan and little Ivi (6 weeks).

At the end of the week Steve left for a driving-test to get his norwegian driving-certificate. He passed of course. Lukas and me got a visist from Bestemor and Bestefar plus Mette, Pål and Lea. We had a nice walk and adored and enjoyed our kids.
Lukas is developing a lot. He learned
to pick rasberries and say "vann" (water) this week. He also points out the picture of New York in his picture book and is always very exited when he discovers it. I tell him we will fly there and visit his american family.

Hura for 17. mai!


Lukas enjoyed 17th of may and the visit from Grandma and Grandpa.




He now speaks some words from both english and norwegian. And understand both meanings. "Shoes" is his new favorite word. It must be because he loves to run around outside non-stop!
